Hey guys

Hey guys. Long time no see.

It feels good to check back here again after so long. A lot of things have changed for me and for probably everyone. I've had some good and bad days, but for the most part I've survived. My uncle has moved in and I've had a cat die recently. Also, just last week my dog was diagnosed with heart worms and I was pretty sure she was about to die. I had assumed it was related to diabetes, but once I had her blood sugar regulated and she was still sick, I was baffled. I finally got her to a vet and they said that it was heart worms. So for a week, she stayed at the vet clinging to life and I called constantly to check on her. Then one morning I called and they said she was doing much better and would be ready to go home. The doc called her a miracle and said that she must be a cat because it was like she had nine lives.

So for now, she's recovering pretty well. She will be on heart meds for two weeks until she is strong enough to have the heart worms treated. I just hope that others reading this can take this as a warning to get your pets treated for heart worms. Especially if they go outdoors often around mosquitoes. I wish I had done so earlier. Also, I've had a cat and my other dog with cancerous tumors removed so it's been pretty stressful as far as pets go. They seem to be recovering ok though... I hope.

Anyway, I haven't really been in the mood for anything creative lately, but I hope soon that I will be ready to write and draw again. I have a tablet and I'm getting pretty good at using Paint Tool Sai so... maybe soon. I was hoping one day to go through all my old fics and spruce them up a bit since I was pretty childish when they were written and I think the wording could be improved some. I wouldn't change too much though, just enough to polish them up. I'm thinking more and more about Stage Fright lately and as soon as the writing bug bites me, I'll start back on it.
