I finally finished page seven of the comic! I had no idea that one page would take so much blood, sweat and tears! Ok... that was a little melodramatic, but anyway, I hope you enjoy reading it!

Come on Smithers don't be a scary cat tell him =D This is just wonderful I'm surprise this isn't in the show, then again this may be to romantic for The Simpsons :P

Yep. I don't think it would ruin the show if they explored the possibilities between those two a little more in depth, but these days the Simpsons seem more interested in comedic effect than anything heartfelt or romantic like the early episodes did occasionally.

I actually think they could make the romance part of the comedy if they tried, but Burns just seems to be a stubborn old man that doesn't know what he's missing. It's not many people that have someone like Smithers to worship the ground they walk on so I think he should feel at least a bit flattered. :D

Honestly, how could the man spend decades with Smithers and not suspect, or maybe pretend not to suspect a thing?

Who knows :P Maybe Burns doesn't care about Smithers feelings or is oblivious, but that would mean he has been oblivious for over 20 years! Will he ever catch on.
